North Seymour (canal) Diving Tour Itinerary
This diving tour is sometimes combined with a visit to Mosquera Islet or Daphne island.
The tour starts from Puerto Ayora. Transportation will take you to the Itabaca canal; the trip
takes around 40
minutes. It then takes 20 minutes by boat to reach North Seymour Island.



The currents on the island are moderate but can also get quite strong, making it ideal for beginners and experienced divers alike.



This island has a sandy bottom that is 18 meters deep. Here you can see sea turtles, white tip sharks, barracudas, snappers, and frequently you can see large schools of hammerhead sharks; even more than in Gordon Rocks.



The main attractions that North Seymour has are the schools of eagle rays, mahi mahis, mobulas, and manta rays.
