Mosquera Islet Diving Tour Itinerary
This diving tour is sometimes combined with a visit to Seymour Island.
Provided transportation will take you from Puerto Ayora to the Itabaca Canal; this trip takes
40 minutes. Then you
will board a boat to take you to the islet; this trip takes 20 minutes.
Currents in the Mosquera Islet dive site, range from moderate to strong, and are ideal for beginners and experienced divers.
In this reef of rocks and sand, 21 meters deep, you can see schools of eagle rays, golden rays, and devil rays.
You can also see white tip sharks and black tip sharks, as well as hammerhead sharks, and at rare times, Galapagos sharks. On the sandy bottom you can see the endemic species of garden eels of the islands.
Diving at Mosquera islet includes:
